Dolese to Host Annual Rock the Block Touch-a-Truck Event in Oklahoma City on September 13
Dolese Bros. Co. invites families across Oklahoma to join the fun at its annual Rock the Block Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dolese Support Services Center (8300 N. Oklahoma Ave., Oklahoma City).
This free, family-friendly community event gives kids of all ages the chance to explore and climb on the big rigs that help build Oklahoma – including dump trucks, backhoes, concrete mixers, and other heavy construction equipment. Children can sit in the driver’s seat, honk horns, and learn about the machines from the professionals who operate them.
“Rock the Block is one of our favorite ways to give back to the community,” said Kermit Frank, VP of Communications and Community Relations. “Not only does it give kids an unforgettable experience, but it also connects families to the important role construction plays in building our state.”
Highlights of the Event:
- Quiet Hour (9 a.m. – 10 a.m.): Designed for children and families who prefer a less noisy environment.
- Hands-On Exploration: Climb inside trucks, honk horns, and meet real operators.
- Community Cause: Lunch and concessions available, with proceeds benefiting the United Way of Central Oklahoma.
- Free Admission: Open to the public, no tickets required. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned/non-perishable food items to donate to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
- Parking: Event onsite parking is available.
Last year, hundreds of families attended, and Dolese expects an even bigger crowd in 2025. Families are encouraged to bring cameras and enjoy a morning full of excitement and discovery.
