Acquisition of Rainbow Concrete Company: Latest Growth Opportunity for Leading Construction Supply Company
(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK) - Dolese Bros. Co., Oklahoma's leading construction materials company, announced its acquisition of Rainbow Concrete Company, a continuation of the company's major expansion in the Tulsa and northeast region of the state.
"This acquisition significantly extends Dolese's market in and around Tulsa and fits well with the Catoosa operation acquired in the fall of 2010," said Mark A. Helm, Chairman of the Board and President of Dolese. "We look forward to working with Rainbow's employees and valued customers and are excited about expanding our services throughout the state."
Today's announcement marks continued expansion in northeast Oklahoma for the 100-year-old construction materials firm. Dolese began operating in the region last fall, with the acquisition of A&M Concrete, Inc. With the addition of Rainbow, Dolese now has 6 locations serving the Tulsa metroplex; over 45 ready-mix concrete plants in Oklahoma and Louisiana; more than 350 concrete mixer trucks; 15 facilities that provide stone, sand and gravel; and two concrete block manufacturing plants.
"Its commitment to quality service and to the business values important to Oklahoma sets Dolese apart," said Tommy Thompson and Pat Guest, Owners, Rainbow Concrete Company.
"We are confident of a smooth transition and continued excellence in service to our customers."
Leland Meiser, General Manager of Dolese's Tulsa Division, will lead the transition.
